Gig Economy Workers Prefer Their Freedom

A recent survey conducted by Crowded.com found that 80.2% of workers in the “Gig Economy” prefer to be classified as independent contractors. These individuals prefer the freedom and flexibility that being an independent contractors offers, while resisting the limitations being an employee can bring.

The survey also found that only 11.72% of gig economy workers would prefer to be classified as an employee.
