Bill H.B. 229
This bill modifies the Utah Mental Health Professional Practice Act (the “Act”). With respect to independent contractors, the bill would make additions allowing the following types of mental health therapists to act as an independent contractor for purposes of the Act:
(1) a clinical social worker;
(2) a licensed professional counselor; and
(3) a licensed marriage and family therapist.
